V letech 2004 – 2006 svou činnost rozvíjela Galerie Artkontakt (od 2006 stejně jako přehlídka přejmenovaná na ARSkontakt), zaměřená na prezentaci výtvarného umění mladých českých autorů a na konfrontační výstavy českých a zahraničních autorů. Kurátorská koncepce spočívala v organizaci výstav původního umění autorů nejmladší generace se speciálním zaměřením na současnou malbu. V prostorách na Jakubském náměstí v Brně proběhlo na dvacet takových projektů. V současné době je činnost Galerie ARSkontakt z finančních důvodů pozastavena. Výstavy autorů okruhu ARSkontaktu probíhají v partnerských a spolupracujících galeriích. Síť kooperujících institucí se rozrůstá nejen v Čechách, ale i v rámci zahraničí.

In years 2004 – 2006 ARSkontakt’s activity was intended on prezentation of fine arts created by young Czech artists. The curator‘s program was introducting work of authors from new wave, young generation, and helping them to build up their artwork. The program also included the confrontative reviews of fine art not only of Czech young artists but also from foreign countries. This year there were over twenty projects of this kind held in the gallery room in Jakubske namesti in Brno. Curretnly the activity of Gallery ARSkontakt has been stopped due to financial reasons. The exhibitions of authors from constituency around ARSkontakt are held in cooperated and partnership galleries now. The net of cooperated institutions is uprising not only in the Czech but also abroad.
